Trashformation Community Upcycling Center is a not-for-profit organization to be located on the north side of Chicago. Trashformation combines waste management with art making to pursue its mission to:

• reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by locating and collecting clean, safe, high quality industrial discards, off-cuts and over-runs
• redistribute these items at an affordable price as valuable creative and educational resources
• offer hands-on workshops that provide guidance and inspiration and promote creative reuse for the crafting of usable objects from landfill destined materials
